Extracurriculars & Athletics
Student Council
The Student Council is dedicated to representing the student body and promoting a positive school culture. Council members advocate for student concerns, support school initiatives, and lead activities that build school spirit. It’s a place where students learn responsibility, teamwork, and civic engagement.
Basketball
Basketball club is open to all students of our school. Basketball is held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4-5:30pm at the school’s gym and coached by Mr. Edwards.
Dance Team
Students will be part of the Spirit squad, performing at halftime of sporting events, as well as assemblies. Students are expected to hold themselves in high regard as they will be representing the student body. Students will also be expected to take care of their uniforms and poms as well as learn all the routines for their performances.

The BGES School Community Garden is a hands-on learning space where students, families, and staff come together to grow fresh produce and care for the environment. It encourages teamwork, responsibility, and a deeper connection to healthy living and nature.

NY Edge Afterschool Program
